Foxconn-Mozilla Develop Firefox OS Tablet Prototype


Mozilla, better known for its popular web browser, Firefox, has created its own Firefox OS tablet prototype, to test the operating system in the form factor and chipset design.

Prototype tablet is by Foxconn , who also is responsible for Apple’s products. When the tablet specifications include a 10-inch display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution , a 1GHz quad -core processor , 2GB of RAM and 16GB of capacity built.

Other features include Wi – Fi , Bluetooth, GPS , microSD card slot, micro -USB port , front and rear cameras, and 7 , 000mAh battery on board .

These Firefox OS running tablet is speculated to miss their entry into the tablet market as the key and we are and will instead be given to developing markets where smartphone and tablet use is relatively small ˛ however .



Firefox recently joined Deutsche Telekom , Telefonica Spain , South Korea’s LG, the US-based Qualcomm and Chinese manufacturers ZTE and TCL / Alcatel to develop open Internet device compliance review board .
