Lenovo Introduces Five Smartphones Starting From Rs 6,499
Lenovo, the renowned PC maker has unveiled five Android smartphones in India, thereby making its foray into elusive smartphone market in the country. The smartphones, named Lenovo K860, S880, S560, P700i and A60+, are priced between Rs 6,499 and Rs 28,499. According to the company, the first four devices are based on Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, while the Lenovo A60+ runs Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread.
Talking about the devices, Lenovo K860, is the most expensive smartphone among the five handsets. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor and sports a 12.7-cm (5-inch) IPS display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. The company claims the screen of K860 has 178 degree viewing angles. Other features include, an 8 MP rear camera, 8 GB onboard storage, 1 GB RAM, 2,250 mAh battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB etc. The K860 will be available in India for Rs 28,499.
Next up, is the Lenovo S880, which too has a 12.7-cm (5-inch) display. The S880 is a slim phone and comes in dual-SIM capability. It comes with a 512 MB RAM, 0.3 MP front camera and 5 MP rear camera, GPS, MicroSD card slot and a 2,250 mAh battery. The Lenovo S880 is priced at Rs 18,999.
Like the first two models, Lenovo S560 also has a 12.7-cm (5-inch) IPS screen and is powered by a dual core processor. It comes with a 5 MP camera. The S560 is priced at Rs 14,999. The Lenovo P7000i too has dual SIM capability and has a 10.6-cm (4-inch) screen. It costs Rs 12,499.
