TRAI to collect call quality reviews from customers with their new MyCall app.

Telecom regulatory Authority of India aka TRAI to launch an app to collect the call quality information about each call from all Indian telecom subscribers .

Users will be able to rate a number of calls according to their wish . The rating system allows the ranging from 1 star to 5 star . 1 is the lowest while 5 is the Best quality. Chairman said this will improve the quality of the existing DND ( Do not disturb app ) .

Trai already have an app, MySpeed to collect internet speed test results . Which collects the speedtest results from Indian telecom subscribers to know the quality of data given by the service providers.

TRAI also commented about the problem due to the denial of interconnections by certain operators to Reliance Jio “appears to be with the ulterior motive to stifle competition and is anti-consumer.” . Those can be penalized according to TRAI Act, 1997 in a relation of the interconnect violations and was if the telecom operators were given the 90-day period for providing these Point of Interconnections.
