Nokia’s latest Lumia 925 Windows Phone 8 smartphone is now available on shelves in Germany with other markets in Europe, China and US to follow after this. The company’s latest WP 8 offering was launched back in May in London and this is the first Lumia handset to be built on metal finish.
The Lumia 925 sports a 11.4-cm (4.5-inch) AMOLED WXGA display screen with 1280×768 pixels resolution and ClearBack technology, same as that on Lumia 920, the company’s flagship WP 8 smartphone until now. The phone gets 2.25 D Gorilla 2 Glass that offers screen protection from scratches and high falls. Similar to Nokia 920, the Lumia 925 phone has super sensitive touch technology for glove and nail usage.
The handset comes fitted with an 8.7 MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and 1.2 MP front-facing shooter for video calling. The camera comes with Nokia’s signature PureView imaging technology. The phone packs a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor along with 1 GB RAM and runs on the Windows Phone 8 platform.
The phone is available in two options 16 GB and 32 GB storage model and now that the product has been listed on the Nokia India site as ‘coming soon’. We can expect to get an official word from the Finnish handset maker about Lumia 925 in the coming weeks.
